  Yesterday, you taught us the marvelous function! Firefox and Zotero!! You introduced mainly about Zotero. Of course, I never used such a useful tool. After I know them I can not help using them to list up work cited.
  The download process was compicated and difficult for me, but thank you for waiting for us until we catch up and teaching us carefuly.
  Zotero can list up work cited in one second. We do not need to list up them one by one. We can also select the style of work cited in Zotero. How USEFUL function!!

  You said we can learn more about Zotero and Firefox. I'm very looking forward to beeing taught them.

  We checked our essay each other with friends and we found mistakes in our essay at the begining of last class.
 We learned a lot about how to write body paragraphs and conclusions. Each body paragraphs need topic sentence, sub topic, details and examples.
Conclusion should
・be sammary of supporting sentence
・enable reader to understand essay.
・repeat most important thing
・no new impformation
・repeat thesis statement different way

We have to follow those rules and make marvelous essays.
My essay is still terrible. It has many mistakes and not logical.
Your explanation is careful and easy to understand, so I'll do as you told.

  We learned a lot with textbook how to write academic essay in the last class. I could find out my mistakes in essay after understood number agreement rules and pronoun. When we learnd them through the questions in textbookm,  I might can almost comprehend. However I don't know whether my answer is correct or not, so I want you to tell us the answer for each question. I know there is no time to tell the answers. It's just my own opinion.
  The end of the class, you explained syllabus. I try to do my best for the rest of class.

2011/06/02 Dokkyo Writing

  At the begining of last class, you checked our first paragraph and tell us how it should be. The first paragraph is introducing paragraph, so it doesn't need arguments. Arguments come later. We need to give background, example and get attention in first paragraph.
  On the contrary, we do not need
・  "me you us our "
・question
・"and so on"
 in academic writing.
We have to fix first para in accordance with your advice. Then we need to make next para. We use 2nd strongest reason at first. Strongest reason is used at last.
 At each para, it need
・topic sentence 1
・supportng sentences 3~8
・concluding sentence 1
do not be choppy , flow together

There are many mistakes and not academic words in my essay, so I'm going to fix it till next class. Please point out my mistakes again.

I was absent last class because I was sick.
I have to work hard that I can keep up with my classmates.

   Last class, we learned a lot about Google Reader. Every class, Google surprises me by its useful function!

 Google Reader can find out articles what we need at once only by putting words in  searching   form. In addition, it tells me new information that I haven't read. I can't miss any information. I can't help using such a convenient tool!
 
  You also told us how can write marvelous exellent fabulous essays. The title have to be composed of short, simple one and long, detail, specific one. We have to get attention by good title and 1st paragraph.
The example of good title you suggest " Invalid Instruction: A critique of English education in Japan" I'll try to make such marvelous title!
 
 We recieved the link to " thesis statement guide." We have to read it and improve our thesis statement. It'll helps us not only essay in this class but also in other class.

 In middle of essay we give information that making readers comprehension.
 We can't put personal pronounce. like I my me mine...etc

I'll make use of this advice and functions.

 Last class, we could learn about many useful functions Google have.I didn't know that there are amazing functions in Google! I was especially surprised at Google document. It can save us a great deal of trouble to share the essay. If we send essay to all by email, essay will be deplicated and we will have many trouble. However Google document enable us to share our essay and correct it each other easily. I want to raise my writing skills by using such useful functions!
 We also learned about Blogger. We have to write blog after the class in English. It can also raise my writing skills I think. I will do my best to write.
 Thank you for teaching many interesting functions. I will make good use of those.
 I'm looking foward to seeing you and learning new things.
